In December 2019, France's Autorité de la concurrence sanctioned manufacturers for a cartel involving compotes sold under retailers' own brands and to out-of-home catering. The authority found secret horizontal agreements on prices and volumes and exchanges of commercially sensitive information. Délis and Vergers de Châteaubourg, jointly with Groupe Lactalis and B.S.A., were fined €9.466 million.
