Summary
Slovenia's Competition Protection Office found that Elektro Gorenjska and four other electricity distributors acted in concert when they announced almost identical household electricity price increases on 22-23 November 2007, all effective on 1 January 2008. The authority concluded that the conduct restricted competition in Slovenia. The Supreme Court later upheld the national competition-law findings, while removing only the separate EU-law conclusion concerning effect on trade between Member States.
