Air France S.A. Rotten Score Breakdown

The European Commission found that Air France participated in an air-cargo price-fixing cartel from December 1999 through February 2006 and, in a re-adopted 2017 decision, fined Air France €182.92 million. The cartel coordinated fuel and security surcharges and the refusal to pay commissions on surcharges. On 26 February 2026, the Court of Justice rejected Air France's appeal, bringing the challenge to the Commission decision to an end.
