On November 13, 2014, Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd., the company now named AISIN CORPORATION, agreed to plead guilty and pay a $35.8 million criminal fine for allocating customers for variable-valve-timing devices. DOJ said the conspiracy lasted from at least September 2000 through February 2010.
