Altex Romania fined RON 21.38 million in electronics resale-price fixing case
Romania's Competition Council sanctioned Altex Romania, Dante International, Flanco Retail and Samsung Electronics Romania and Bulgaria for an anticompetitive agreement affecting televisions and mobile phones during 2019-2021. The authority said resale prices were fixed between Samsung and each retail partner, restricting independent retail pricing. Altex Romania received a RON 21,376,113 fine.
