The Portuguese Competition Authority found that Caixa Central - Caixa Central de Crédito Agrícola Mútuo participated in the long-running concerted exchange of sensitive commercial information among banks concerning mortgage, consumer and corporate credit. The conduct ran from 2002 to 2013 and included information such as future spreads and recent lending volumes. The AdC imposed a EUR 350,000 fine in September 2019.
