Doprastav, a.s. Rotten Score Breakdown

The Slovak Antimonopoly Office found that Doprastav and five other construction companies coordinated their conduct in a tender for construction of the D1 motorway section Mengusovce-Jánovce. The authority concluded that the companies had entered into a cartel agreement and imposed fines totalling nearly EUR 45 million in 2006. The Supreme Court later dismissed the companies' actions and upheld the authority's conclusions; the judgment became final in March 2014.
