Hellenic Competition Commission fined Eurobank €7.98 million for banking-fee coordination

In settlement Decision 838/2023, the Hellenic Competition Commission found that Eurobank and other banks participated in prohibited agreements and information exchanges concerning ATM direct-access fees, issuing fees and other banking charges beginning in 2018. The HCC imposed a €7,976,790.63 fine on Eurobank and ordered reductions in off-us ATM withdrawal fees.
