Geoplin d.o.o. Ljubljana Rotten Score Breakdown

The Slovenian Competition Protection Agency found that Geoplin abused its dominant position in gas supply to large industrial customers through long-term contracts that tied customers to contracted quantities, minimum-take obligations, penalties and restrictions on disposal of surplus gas. The Agency concluded that the clauses locked industrial customers into Geoplin and hindered market liberalisation. Geoplin was required to cease the infringement and adopt corrective measures.
