Heineken N.V.

In April 2007, the European Commission found that Heineken and other major brewers participated in a single and continuous infringement of EU competition law in the Dutch beer market. The cartel involved coordination affecting beer supplied to the Dutch market. The cartel members together controlled more than 90% of the market. The Commission imposed a major fine on Heineken; the case is recorded in the EU's official decision summary and cartel records.
