Summary
The European Commission found Huhtamäki group companies involved in anticompetitive arrangements in retail food packaging markets, including price coordination and customer allocation. Huhtamäki Oyj was held liable in the Commission's 2015 decision and fines attributable to the applicants totalled EUR 15.562 million. Huhtamäki challenged the decision, but the EU General Court dismissed its action in July 2019.
