Lundbeck A/S Rotten Score Breakdown

The European Commission found that Lundbeck entered into agreements with generic-drug manufacturers in 2002 under which the generic companies received substantial value in return for delaying entry of cheaper generic citalopram products. The Commission imposed a fine of about EUR 93.8 million on Lundbeck in 2013. Lundbeck challenged the decision, but the General Court upheld it in 2016 and the Court of Justice dismissed Lundbeck's appeal in March 2021, making the infringement finding final.
