Summary
The European Commission found Merck KGaA responsible for participation in the major European vitamins cartel investigated at the end of the 1990s. The cartel arrangements involved coordination over vitamin prices and markets and formed part of what the Commission described as an exceptionally serious series of antitrust infringements.
