In settlement Decision 838/2023, the Hellenic Competition Commission found that National Bank of Greece and other banks participated in prohibited agreements and information exchanges concerning ATM direct-access fees, issuing fees and other banking charges beginning in 2018. The HCC imposed a €9,978,799.18 fine on National Bank of Greece and ordered reductions in off-us ATM withdrawal fees.
