NLB d.d. Rotten Score Breakdown

Slovenia's Competition Protection Office found that Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB), Banka Celje, Nova KBM and Abanka Vipa acted in concert when all introduced an identical 80 SIT fee on the same day, 20 February 2006, for customers withdrawing cash with domestic debit cards from other banks' ATMs. The authority held that the coordinated conduct restricted competition and declared the relevant bank decisions prohibited and void. Banka Slovenije later reported that the competition decisions became final in 2010 and that affected banks reimbursed customers.
