OBAYASHI CORPORATION

Obayashi Corporation states that on October 22, 2018 the Tokyo District Court found that four major construction companies had engaged in bid rigging for the Chuo Shinkansen maglev project by selecting contract winners in advance and exchanging estimated amounts and unit prices. The court fined Obayashi ¥200 million. Obayashi had applied for leniency and cooperated with prosecutors.
