OMV Petrom S.A. Rotten Score Breakdown

Romania's Competition Council found that OMV Petrom and five other fuel companies participated in an agreement or concerted practice to stop selling Eco Premium gasoline, infringing Romanian competition law and Article 101 TFEU. The authority initially fined OMV Petrom RON 366.53 million. OMV Petrom challenged the decision; in April 2016 Romania's High Court partially annulled the decision as to the amount and reduced OMV Petrom's fine to about RON 298 million, with the ruling final.
