In settlement Decision 838/2023, the Hellenic Competition Commission found that Piraeus Bank and other banks participated in prohibited agreements and information exchanges concerning ATM direct-access fees, issuing fees and other banking charges beginning in 2018. The HCC imposed a €12,993,482.86 fine on Piraeus Bank and ordered reductions in off-us ATM withdrawal fees.
