The Austrian Cartel Court imposed a EUR 62.35 million fine on the PORR Group for violations of Austrian and European competition law in the major Austrian construction cartel. The conduct involved illegal price coordination, market sharing and exchanges of information concerning public and private tenders in building construction and civil engineering. PORR acknowledged the infringement and cooperated outside the leniency programme. The Cartel Court decision of 17 February 2022 became legally binding on 4 April 2022.
