French competition authority fined Rexel €124 million for participation in two vertical price-fixing arrangements
On 29 October 2024, the French Competition Authority fined Rexel a total of €124 million for participating as a distributor in two vertical resale-price arrangements: one involving Schneider Electric and one involving Legrand. The authority stated that the practices covered periods between May 2012 and September 2018. Rexel disputed the decision and announced an appeal; this record is therefore marked unresolved rather than treating the administrative finding as finally unappealable.
