Switzerland's Competition Commission fined Swiss Post CHF 22.6 million in 2017 over its pricing system for addressed domestic letters for major business customers. The case concerned discounts granted between 2009 and 2014 that COMCO considered unlawful under competition law. Swiss Post initially disputed the allegations and appealed. In August 2021, however, Swiss Post withdrew its appeal and announced that it was accepting the CHF 22.6 million fine, bringing the long-running dispute to an end.
