Telia Company and its Uzbek subsidiary Coscom resolved U.S. and Dutch investigations into a scheme to pay more than $331 million in bribes to an Uzbek government official to obtain and retain telecommunications business. The global resolution announced in 2017 totaled approximately $965 million in criminal and regulatory penalties and disgorgement.
