Wallenius Wilhelmsen ASA

The U.S. Department of Justice charged Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics AS with participating in a long-running conspiracy among international roll-on/roll-off ocean carriers to fix prices, rig bids and allocate customers and routes for vehicle shipping services to and from the United States. The conspiracy ran from at least February 2000 until at least September 2012. WWL agreed to plead guilty and pay a USD 98.9 million criminal fine, and the plea agreement was filed in September 2016.
