In February 2018, the European Commission fined Robert Bosch GmbH €45.834 million for participating in a cartel concerning spark plugs supplied to car manufacturers in the European Economic Area. The Commission found that Bosch, Denso and NGK coordinated prices and allocated supplies through bilateral contacts.
