Ireland's Competition and Consumer Protection Commission intervened after complaints that daa's March and May 2025 Dublin Airport car-parking flash sales advertised promotional daily rates even though, in some cases, the same parking had been cheaper before or after the promotion. The CCPC noted that Irish consumer law prohibits incorrect or misleading information about price promotions. daa said the overcharges resulted from an error and voluntarily committed to refund the full booking cost to more than 4,000 affected customers, returning about EUR 350,000 in total. The remediation was completed following the CCPC intervention.
