The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) found that Magyar Telekom misled consumers by advertising certain mobile internet options as unlimited even though restrictions applied. The authority said the limitations could affect both consumers' assessment of the packages and their actual usage behaviour. The GVH imposed a HUF 310 million fine, prohibited continuation of the practice and required compensation for affected customers in the form of additional mobile data.
