The authority found that wholesale and retail pricing prevented alternative operators from replicating Slovak Telekom's retail products and that bundled conditions created barriers to entry and restricted competition. A fine of EUR 17,453,362.54 was imposed. On 9 June 2021 the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic rejected Slovak Telekom's cassation complaint; no further appeal was available. The Commission imposed a joint and several fine on Slovak Telekom and Deutsche Telekom. After partial adjustment by the General Court, the Court of Justice dismissed Slovak Telekom's appeal on 25 March 2021, leaving the infringement finding in place.
